Bakti Desa

On October 23rd-25th, i and my friends in SMAN 3 Bandung went to Resmitingal Village, Kertasari District, at South Bandung. It was named “Bakti Desa” or in English is “Village Dedication”. Bakti Desa always held every year in my school that have to be join by all students at grade XI. I very excited because Resmitingal Village is located at cold area,  at high plain.
I and my friends went to Resmitingal Village in the morning, and spend four hours till we arrived there. After the opening agenda and lunch, the teacher told us where we would live for three days later. Every house will be stayed by three or four student, and my housemate is Salsabila Hanin, Yasmin Fatinah and Yola Rahmalia. And by accident, we lived with our class proxy, Mrs. Kun Kurniati.
We lived at Mr. Amin Sopian and her wife’s house. They are a very humble and kind people, and we had to try speaking sundanese language with them. We arrived at Mr. Amin Sopian’s house in the afternoon. Mr. Amin prepared a special room for us, and actually it is her daughter room’s. But, her daughter has been school at other city, so we occupied her room. Honestly, i want to say thank you to her, but i can’t meet with her.
In next day, we woke up at 05.00 and toke a bath by turns. After we pray, we helped Mrs. Sopian to made some breakfast. After that we went to Mr. Sopian’s onion garden by foot, it was quite back breaking because the track was slope upward. But, it was fun with the beautiful scenery everywhere! We not just cleaned the garden, but also had our lunch there.
After that, we went home in the afternoon bacause Mr. Sopian’s have to perfomed his Friday Pray. That was a very fun day, in early evening we did a Bakti Sosial, it was like we gave our some foods or clothes to them (people in the village). Next day, we packed our bag because we have to went home. We said thank you to Mr. Sopian and his family and say goodbye. After closing ceremony, we went home by public transportation. I was a very unforgottable moment ever!
